Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against screen time – at all! We love our Kindle and fun TV shows and family movie nights. But on the long days of summer it’s all too easy to zone out to screens while we’re stuck inside avoiding the heat. Since we don’t want to be a family of couch potatoes, I decided to come up with this huge list, so I’ll never have to wrack my brain for things to do instead of screen time ever again!

I love having handy lists like this, don’t you? It makes decision making in the moment so much easier. After spending some time brainstorming, I know many of the ideas here are going to be on our family summer bucket list.
